End of Life Options Act: One Year of Experience and Best Practices

The End of Life Options Act webinar will be held Monday, August 28, Noon-1:15 pm. Registration is free.

The End of Life Options Act is now one year old and family physicians have been both opted-in and opted-out of participation.

In this webinar, we'll provide a quick "state of California" look at year one data, and then our moderator Nate Hitzeman, MD will host a conversation with Catherine Sonquist Forest, MD, MPH and Ryan Spielvogel, MD. They will share their experiences with the act and patients over the past year and offer practical information on the process and point attendees to resources that support participation. Time will be included for open question and answer.

This activity has been reviewed and approved by the American Academy of Family Physicians for 1.25 Prescribed credits. The CAFP is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education activities for physicians.The webinar is approved 1.25 AMA PRA Category 1TM credits.
